Congratulations to all teams and shooters who competed in the League this season. Not only are you practicing marksmanship, but you are also working hard to preserve traditions and constitutional freedoms despite a hostile environment in New York State.

Assemblyman Cliff Crouch To Speak at Awards Banquet

posted Feb 18, 2013, 10:22 AM by CESRPL Statistician

Clifford CrouchWe are very please to announce that the Annual Awards Banquet will be held on April 13th and our special guest will be Cliff Crouch. Cliff is the 122nd Assembly District representative to the New York State Assembly representing the home bases of half our League's shooters (Rockdale, Sidney and Walton).

As an Assemblyman Cliff has been a staunch supporter of the 2nd Amendment. His roots are a local Unadilla High School Graduate, Cornell University Graduate and operator of a 180-head Dairy farm for 22 years in Chenango County, New York. Over the years he served as a Councilman (Bainbridge), Town Supervisor (Bainbridge) and later with the support of his entire County to serve as Chairman of the Board of Supervisors for Chenango County. He resides in the town of Guilford which is the home town of the Rockdale Rod and Gun Club.

The Rockdale Rod and Gun Club is a significant pillar in the Central Empire State Rifle and Pistol League as the home Range of both the Rockdale and Sidney Pistol Teams. One-third of all matches fired in the League each year are fired at the Rockdale Rod and Gun Club. No club in the league is more pro-active at promoting the sport of Bullseye Pistol shooting than Rockdale. It only seemed fitting to recruit Assemblyman Crouch as our special guest to this year's Banquet, hosted by the Rockdale Pistol Team.

Cliff is an outspoken opponent of Governor Andrew Cuomo's abuse of the declaration of necessity and then ramrodding of anti-gun legislation through Albany for the Governor's own personal political aspirations. Cliff is a key ally of all law-abiding New York State citizens in protecting our Constitutionally guaranteed freedoms.

The League would strongly urge all law-abiding New Yorkers to signing Cliff's Petition titled: Protecting Our 2nd Amendment Right
